The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc while selecting a college. It is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state of the art equipment etc.

The Library: is well-stocked and fully-computerized. It has more than 6000 books covering almost all aspects of science, engineering, commerce etc.. It regularly subscribes Periodicals including daily newspapers in kannada and English. Internet and OPAC facility is also available.. Services offered by the library are circulation, consultation, reference and inter- library. There is also a collection of audio-visual materials like maps, atlases, compact discs and audio-cassettes. The library has comfortable Reading Rooms spread over floors with a seating capacity of 100. It extends its current awareness services by providing newspapers/ magazines in the Staff Room and the Students’ Common Room. The library remains open from 9.00 a.m to 4.30 p.m on all working days. It remains closed on Sundays and other gazette holidays .

Canteen: The recently refurnished canteen is the hub of out-of-class discussions and exchange of information. It provides snacks, drinks and lunch at subsidized rates. Especially NRI and Lotus are equipped with good seating facility. Indian canteen has good snack meal .

Sports facilities: in the college include a large playground. Intensive training is imparted under expert guidance. Each year, students of Dayananda sagar College achieve notable distinctions, and many of them are selected for distic, state and National tournaments. Facilities are provided for Athletics, Tennis, Volley Ball, Kabaddi, basketball and football.

Each year, students of Dayananda sagar College achieve notable distinctions, and many of them are selected for district, state and National tournaments. Facilities are provided for Athletics, Tennis, Volley Ball, Kabaddi, basketball and football. Recently we had our first sports event took place in month of march thought a event called AAROHANA. We had volleyball,100 and 200mtsrace, lemon n spoon, relay race, and short put for boys and girls as main part of the event. Where we came to know students who achieved in sports and have promoted them to other sport events taking place around the city.

International conference’s:

The college offers many opportunities for students to develop themselves next to their studies, with valuable add-ons to the college’s educational programmes. Students can also attend career events besides the many social events organized by the wide range of study associations present at the school. These initiatives usually take place at local level. As students of an international university, however, I believe that we should take advantage of more opportunities to explore the world.

What can students gain from participating in these international events?

The answer is as much as they put in themselves. They will be a valuable experience for those who are open for new adventures. These conferences almost always offer workshops hosted by world famous institutes, doctors and top notch speakers. Although we might need to invest some time and effort in the application process and in finding funds, I believe that the experience is worth it. Our students have been to various national and international conferences and actively participated in many quiz and pick and speak competitions in these conferences. Recently our students have won 1st place in quiz competition in an international conferences called RE-DEFINED RADIOLOGY took place in aachraya science college.
