WHY OPERATION THEATER?

An OT Technician assists the surgeon and the anaesthestist during an operation. They also prepare operation theater and maintain the OT equipment for surgery. Some other job responsibilities includes preparing OT for surgery, set up, checking and maintaining of equipment, preparation of patient for surgery, assistance to surgeon and anesthetist with arranging OT equipment, managing supplies and patient’s position required as per the surgery and procedure. along with the skills of doctors and nurses, the skills of the technician also matters. Hence, hospital needs a qualified and skilled OT technician. This course enables understanding of the skills and professional attributes to become an OT technician.
