DENTAL MECHANICS DIPLOMA

The Diploma Course will extend for a period of two year sliding to the qualification. of Dental Mechanics Diploma. The medium of instruction shall be in English.

Department to teach the dental mechanics course is entrusted to department of Prosthodontics or where faculty of related subjects are available. First year of the course comprises of applied physics, chemistry, mechanics, dental mechanics & applied oral anatomy &the 2nd year comprises of subjects like dental materials, dental metallurgy, basic knowledge of computers& medical record management. There will be a primary examination in the first year & final diploma examination in the second year.
