Software Engineering Research Interest Group was formally announced on 24th September 2007 by the Director, Dr. T.R.G. Nair, Research Industry and Incubation centre. Prof. R. Selvarani , Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering is heading the group. The group concentrates on quality aspects of software production, new software design methodologies, analysis on design complexity and reuse capabilities of the software, which are in demand in the present scenario of the software world. The group is concentrating on effective defect prevention approaches in the medium scale IT enterprises and anatomy of inspection process etc., It also looks in to the software aspects of function driven processor design.
