Seminars and Conferences are inevitable parts for a dynamic research group. RIIC was not an exception. RIIC identifies that the dissemination of knowledge and exchange of knowledge at National and International level is the criteria in promoting scientific thought and acceptable levels of standards. Several conferences were organized that started with Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship and ended up with a conference/ Doctoral symposium held in December. Many national and international figures participated in the programs and the whole DSI could get the benefit of it by attending these events.

1. “Key Global Changes Indicating Innovation and Enterprise Transformations”, National Seminar on Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship, on 14-Feb-2008, Bangalore, India.
2. “Innovations in Frontier Areas of Science and Technology”, Key note Address for the National Seminar on Advances in Electronics and Communications, April-2008, Nitte Institute, Mangalore, India.
3. “Advances in Software Engineering” Invited Lecture in ‘International Seminar on Component Based Software Design ’, August, 2008, Bangalore, India.
4. During the year 2008, the research results were presented at Euroconference (organized by ICT-FET), organized an international seminar on, “Advances in Software Engineering”, grant application submitted to FP7 Call in collaboration with EuroIndia.
5. The Software Engineering Research Group, RIIC, DSI organized an International Seminar on “Advanced Software Engineering“, on 22nd August 2008 at Dr. C.D. Sagar Auditorium, Bangalore.
6. Seminar in the discipline of “Innovation, Research and Industry, seminar titled “Challenges in Entrepreneurship & Business Process in Emerging Technologies” for the year 2009.
7. International Seminar. “Nanomaterials” - Nanotechnology Group at Research and Industry Incubation Center (RIIC), Dayananda Sagar Insititutions (DSI), Bangalore organized an international level seminar. The young scientist Dr. Rahul Rao, Engineer (Technical Support), Molecular and Microanalysis division, HORIBA_JOBIN YUON INC., New Jersey, USA, who delivered an invited talk entitled, “Synthesis and characterization of Nanomaterials” on 9th January 2008.
8. Incubation Center started in the year 2008 with a good move by hosting a National seminar on, “Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship”. Leading personalities from Industry & Academia has participated in the seminar
