E-CELL
Entrepreneurship cell was inaugurated at Dayananda Sagar College of Wednesday 9th September 2009.

The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) is a not-for profit initiative of the Wadhwani foundation, working to inspire, educate and support new and future entrepreneurs in India. The e-cell was inaugurated by Mr.Sadananda Maiya (CMD.MTR foods ltd) and Mr.R.Janardhan (Sr.Exe-Vice President, DSI).
KATHANA
A student collaborated e-newsletter containing information regarding all the department activities during the semester. Kathana also holds a variety of other activities and games like crosswords, Sudoku, quiz, funniest advertisements, etc.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS
During the last semester the students of DSCE-DOMS (3rd SEM) have visited the following companies in order to enhance their understanding of the workings of organizations.
The visits include the following:
o Larsen and Toubro Komatsu
Manufacture of construction equipment, principally hydraulic excavators, components and hydraulic systems. The company is a 50:50 joint venture between Larsen and Toubro and Komatsu Asia and Pacific Pte Limited, Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd., Japan. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
o Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd
BFW is the single largest machine tool builder in India. As a fine testimonial for the commendable manner in which BFW meets its responsibilities, the Government of India on February 24, 2009, awarded a 'Samman Patra', declaring BFW's revenue performance as "outstanding”.
