Today,
with advanced technology, surgeries and operations
have a big role to play to help people overcome
their ailments. For quality treatment in the
operation theater, there is a great demand for
qualified and trained technicians in corporate
hospitals both in India and aboard.
Eligibility
for Admission :
A pass in PUC II or equivalent examination with
a minimum of 40% marks in optional subjects
only under Science- such as PCM, PCB, CBZ. However,
the minimum percentage of marks required can
be relaxed as per rules.
Age
Limit :
The candidate should have attained a minimum
age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year
of admission. Upper age limit is 40 years, which
can be relaxed as per rules.
Duration
of the Course :
Two years from the commencement of the term
i.e. from the 1st of June/January every year.
Scheme
of Examination :
There shall be two examinations- one at the
end of first year called the Preliminary Examination
and other at the end of the second year - the
final examination. Both the examination shall
be conducted by the Para Medical Board.
No student will be allowed
to take up the preliminarily examination, if
his/her name is not approved by the Para Medical
Board and he/she has not put in 75% of the attendance
both in theory and particles during the course
of the study. However, a student can be promoted
to study the second year if he/she has completed
the first year study.
A Certificate will be issued
by the Para Medical Board to the successful
candidate on completion of the final examinations |
