Dr. R. Selvarani is the Dean Research and Head of Advanced Software Engineering Research Group in Research and Industry Incubation Centre (RIIC), Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore. She was awarded Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering faculty, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. She is Listed in the Directory of Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering, America, 2011-2012 (11th Edition). Allotted VIP Number is: 35680359. She has a dedicated teaching and research carrier spanning over 18 years in various universities including the position of Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering for a period of seven years. Two times she has been awarded the best teacher award from different Institutions. Her research interest spreads over the modern approaches in the area of component based design, software quality estimation techniques, Analytical Software Engineering, Metrics and Measurements, software design quality estimation and software industry process and computational models for real time systems. She is members of professional societies like Computer society of India, IEEE, ISTE and delivered several seminars on frontier area in Software engineering and Industrial process. She has published 29 research publications in various international journals and books. Her research interest has lead to two patents on technology innovation. She has delivered several seminars in national & international conferences. She has published a book in Computer science and Engineering and currently working on two research hand books in multidisciplinary domain. She is the Managing editor of two international journals published from the research centre.
